NEWS- ADD supports NUDIPU with operational costs for District DPOs |

Having worked in Uganda for the 22 years, ADD has supported both national and district DPOs by building their capacity through mobilization of disabled people to form groups, election of leaders using democratic principles, constitutional development, training in organisational development and group dynamics and provision of funds to meet some of their operational costs among others. It has also worked with these DPOs to influence to government, civil society organizations and development agencies for positive change. More>>

ADD Uganda started its operations in 1987 and its main mission was to facilitate the development and sustainability of the disability movement in Uganda to bring about lasting social change that enables the full inclusion of disabled people in all aspects of life for the full enjoyment of their rights. ADD started in a small way but has now grown both in size and scope and currently supports all the national organizations of disabled people in Uganda. More>>
